Virgo Wren investigating their box but
were driven away by titmouse.
Bush-tits building nest outside kitchen
window.
Apr. 4. Went to Bay Farm Island. Raining when
we started but cleared later. Lunch at
Mrs. Kelly's afterward. Saw:
Western Grebe, Glaucous-w Gulls, Cal. Gulls,
Bonaparte's Gull, Rail (Clapper), Canvasbacks,
Blue Bills, Surf Scoter, St. Blue Heron, Curlew
Black-cx-Nt. Heron, Kill deer, Black-bellied Pl.,
Semi-palmated Pl., Least Sandpiper, W. Sandy
Sp. Hawk, Meadow Larks, Brewer Pl., Redwing,
Pipit, Bryant Marsh Sp., M. Song Sp., Cut. Sp.
Golden-cr. Sp., Linnets, Pacific Yellow throat,
Eng. Sp., Green b. Gold., Barn Swallow.
