So. Div. of Cooper Club at Exposition Park.
June 2. Made 2 calls in Pasadena. Out
on the Arroyo. Very beautiful. Many
birds. Hot.
June 3. Called on Mr. & Mrs. Loye Holmes
Miller in Highland Park. Prof. Miller
took us for a walk in the Arroyo-
Saw Trail Flycatchers for first time-
Wonderful place for watching birds.
Mockingbirds, Thrashers, Grosbeaks kept
air resounding with music. Many
came to lawn for food and water.
Prof. Miller imitated their notes
with great success.
June 6. Spent night in Pasadena. Western
Tanagers called and sang.
June 8. Went out to Pomona as as to see
Electra in Mt. Theater. Trip to mouth
of San Gabriel Canyon P.M. Saw tiny
