of Bluebirds - one on wires above Mrs. Parsons house
one in N. Berkeley. Mrs. Pope reported that she
saw an Anna Hummingbird taking materials
from an old nest in fuchsia up into pine tree
a few days before.
Feb. 13. Titmice singing. Feb. 14, 15, 16 warm -
White-throated Sparrow disappeared.
Feb. 17. 1 adult and 1 juvenile White-crowned
Sparrow came to railing to feed. Warm.
Feb. 18. Cooler. Feb. 19. Tule fog much of day -
Took jam. And. up canyon. Titmice Vireo
singing.
Feb. 21. Rain. Feb. 22. Mews and Titmice
singing a great deal. Thrasher singing
often.
Feb. 23. Near Bluebirds. White-crowned Sp.
Come to feed every day - singing freely -
Feb. 24. Late-bird Warbler arrived.
Glanceous Gull (?) on bay. Very light.
Feb. 25. Heard Late-bird Warbler again. Flock
