Dec. 29. Cold. Clear. Took walk thru Campus
with Mrs. Mead. Saw usual winter
birds; juncos, robins, sparrows, 2 red-
breasted Napeckers, titmice, Townsend's
& Audubon Warbler, many R-c Knights.
Went to Museum. Examined Orange-
Crowned Warbler (specimens by Mr. Grinnell
and Miss Wythe) also Cassin Purple F.
