Mr. & Mrs. Grunniell Called and brought me a number of Bird Books to read, among them Chapman's Camps and Cruises, Sept.25. Mr. Dawson came to sell me Birds of California . Sept.26. Golden-crowned Sparrow Jack. Sept.29. Hermit Thrush calling. Rusty Song Sparrow on feeding grounds. Heard Intermediate Sparrow singing. Also one Ruby-crowned Kinglet - Sept.30. Rain.
