Cesio, July 1916 July 15. Walked to Hotel, crosses S.P. tracks and up hill a little way. Found Mt. Bluebird below hotel, and young across R.R. Linnets about hotel and cabins, Green-tailed Torcher in brush above R.R. singing, Lazuli Bunting. Petted baby Robins in low pine tree. Young Sandp. running about. July 16. Walked up to Campbell Lake. Cliff Swallows about barn. Brewer's [illegible] July 17. Saw hornet, black-head & thorax blue wings, red abdomen. Black tip. Dug hole in ground, brought paralyzed tent caterpillar, buried it, filled hole and sealed w. pebbles. Matched process three times. Tent caterpillars very abundant on deer brush. July 18. Went to Lake Valley, over ridge S. of lakes. Verified G.T. Torcher, Lazuli B. Robins nest w. 3 egg. Wood Pewee's nest in aspen,
