Tanagers here. May 23. Cold N.W. Wind. Took ladies to Golden Gate Park. Saw: 1. Mallard - 3 with young on N. Lake 2. Puddy Ducks - several 3. Coot - Several with young 4. Northern Phalarope - one on N. Lake. 5. Kildeer - 3 in marsh in buffalos paddock 6. Cal. Quail - Several pairs, one with very young
