37. Western Yellowthroat - Heard several. Saw one
at North Lake.
38. Pileated Warbler - Heard two.
39. Vigor's Wren - heard several. One nest
with several young in old cask hanging
on fence near Buffalo paddock.
40. Santa Cruz Chickadee - Several feeding
young - two nests one with five eggs
in fence post near Buffalos paddock,
one with young - parents feeding.
41 Coast Bush-tit. Several feeding young.
One nest in acacia. Nest short, thick,
supported at bottom, lightly attached
at top, covered with acacia blossoms.
42. Purpl-backed Thrush - many.
43. Western Robin - Several pairs - three
nests; one rifled; one with young, both
parents feeding, in jap tea plant about nine feet
