16. Red-tailed Hawk - Saw two.
17. Red-shafted Flicker - Heard several. One
nest in large post about nine feet from
ground - five eggs. Mother flew out as
we approached.
18 (Swift (Vaux ?) Saw one in flight.)

19. Anna's Hummingbirds - Abundant. Six
ests, five with two eggs each, one with
young.
20. Allen Hummingbird. Many. No nests found.
(21. Arkansas Kingbird? Saw two though for pos-
tive identification)
22. Olive-sided Flycatcher - On west side of
island in Ston Lake.
23. Western Black Phoebe - one with nest in
Buffalo's Paddock under roof off feeding
bar fastened to upright piece. Young
