Apr.19-Took children out 10 a.m. Found two more
nests of W. Flycatcher under Senior Women's
hall. Nest under bridge (see Apr.16) had 5 eggs-
Apr.21. Heard Rusty-backed Thrush.-
Apr.25 Heard Lazuli Bunting.-
Apr.26. Found Lutescent Warbler's nest on ground,
roofed over by natural covering. 4 young feather-
ed. Vigors' Wrens began to build in nesting
box. Malcolm Stratton brought me a
Hermit Thrush injured.-
Apr.27. Hermit Thrush died. Took it to museum-
a few Golden cr. sp. still here. Vigors' Wrens
very busy-
Apr.28. Lutescent Warblers left nest 10 a.m.-
Found Song Sparrow's nest with one young
bird (mingo feathered, back-nalced) at 10 d.m.
Two eggs also. At 4:30 p.m. bird was missing
Blue jays responsible? Found Blue tit's nest.
Parents both feeding young. Met high in oak
tree. Wrens seem to have finished nest.-
