Barn Swallows - three in neighborhood of old barn. Hudsonian Curlew - several feeding along shore. Intermediate Sparrows in flock near road. Brewer Blackbirds - a few. Gulls - principally Ring billed. Nests - Saltmarsh Sparrow - one fresh egg. Nest in salt grass and Salicornia not from tide. Egg brownish ground heavily spotted with darker brown. Clapper Rail - Nest containing nine eggs - had been raided probably by Norway Rat. Three eggs broken, eggs scattered. Nest under Composite plant made from Twig loosely
