Feb. 25. Saw Allen Hummingbird.
Beautiful day after weeks of
rain. Took walk in afternoon
with Mr. Meade. Saw not very
many birds in hills but later in
afternoon saw a very large flock
of Audubon warblers near the Blates
on Piedmont Ave. A flock of over
a hundred Robins on the lower
campus. Also a flock of twelve
Cedar Waxwings.
March 2. Heard one Lutescent Warbler
at 7:30 A.M. Beautiful day.
March 3. Mr. Pope & Mrs. Paine came to
lunch. Buch-tits building in oak
treet end of Mosewood Road.
March 6. Lutescent Warblers numerous.
