Jan. 4. Very warm, sunny. Took walk thru' canyon from College Ave. to swimming pool. Heard Nuttall's vireo calling.
Jan. 6. A Thrasher flew against the dining room window twice in its effort to get California Holly berries in vase inside.
Jan. 9. Nuttall sparrow in full song Clear - cold.
Jan. 10. Saw ducks and Western Grebes near Key Route Pier. Warmer.
