March.20. Took short walk with Miss
Atcott at 8:30. Juncoes and Fox
Sparrows here. Heard three great-
catchers; saw one.
March 22. Found Kinglets, Townsend
Warblers & juncoes, all singing
in clump of oaks up the hill.
March 23. Took 12 pictures thro' dining
room window of birds eating
on railing: 4 of Fox Sparrow,
2 Wren Tit, 2 Brown Towhee,
1 Song Sparrow.
March 25. Took five pictures: 1 Br.Towhee
3 Thrasher, 1 Golden-crowned Sparrow
(young). Saw Hermit Thrush
