*The Hermit Thrushes seemed to be of
two kinds - Larger ones Monterey?
In afternoon went up to Redwood City -
Called on Mr. Chase Littlejohn, who
was very kind to me - showed me
his collections. Saw Blue Heron
on marsh near his house, and Hawk
(red-tailed) perched in his tree.
Dec.18. Took Bird Club in field 12 species -
Dec.21. Went up to Wilson's Dome - on Mt. Atlas 12 mi
from Napa. Saw following birds -
