Found several Chipping Sparrows.
May 26. Went birding with Mrs. Meade. Several
Chipping Sparrows in Institution
grounds. Warm. House Wren's nest found.
May 27. Saw Chipping Sparrow on corner
of Dwight Way and Manning St. Very warm
May 31. Vigor's Wren feeding young in brush
opposite Mrs. Parker's house.
June 3. Spent day at Opposition. Warm.
Evening counted birds in grounds.
Breuer Blackbirds abundant - scavengers
English Sparrows - 11
Bucco-backed Thrush across lagoon from Art Palace
Song Sparrows - 1 near lagoon, 2 Court Seasons.
Nutall Sparrow - 1 feeding young near Oregon building
1 near Art Palace, 1 Court of Abundance flying
third arches to north.
Cliff Swallows - about 1000 of Italian Building
and near Art Hall
