(1) Went out at 6a.m. to take bird
Census for U.S. Biological Survey
Covered space about 300ft. N.to S. and
100ft. E.to W.- bordering our lot and Mr.
Stratton's, before 8 A.M. Found following
birds in that area:
Cal.Torhee - 1pr. Nest probably on Mr. Passislot.
5 single birds, 2 pairs.
S.F. Torhee 5-7pr. Found one nest containing
2 naked young, 2 eggs. Nest on grounds
Pilesated Warblers - Saw 4 single birds, 2 pairs.
Seemed to be feeding young in nest.
Lutescent warblers - 4 pairs with young out of nest.
