Dover July 20-30 (contin)
as it scrambles up the bark of
a Tamarick, making a great
noise and evidently nothing very
hard. After a few moments
it flew across to a
deal pine near by and
crupt into a little pocket
formed by a branch which
curved back to the main
trunk, and rested quietly there
for about five minutes, after
which it returns to its work.
