1905 May 27-31 Oxford. Saw Rooks, English Robin Red- brests, Black Thrushes, Throttle, Greenfinches, Chaffinches. Holland June 9. Saw storks and nest in little village near Rygood. Nest on top of small Church. Dummer- able sparrows, English, had nests in sides of storks nest. June 11. Saw storks in field and flying over. Cormorants on the canal catching eels. When it has caught the eel, the cormorant would loss the eel into the air until it could get it into such a pos- ition that it would go straight down the throat.
