1913 Feb. 11. (contin) to feeding ground when field is clear often snaps at other sparrows if they are in his way- Feb. 22. Fails to find the flock of Sparrows today. Men have been clearing away and burn- ing the brush on the hillside and horses have not been tethered as before, so food supply & and cover are both become scarce. Put out bird seed but could not attract them back. Feb. 24. Allen Hummingbird (first time 1913)
