1006 - q left as car passed. - sat grooming on east puchie - returned - differed head down - Dauphin was feeding - tail to me, however I did not see her go to ground.
Day-in brown cloudy - a slight breeze - moderately warm.
1015 - male approaches - could not see food in wake - comes to female might have given him food - q leaves - would sit by nest - female returns - may have gone to ground. - q dips head twice. then settles. male leaves as q returns.
1022 - male brings food - female stays on - receives it - did not see swallow - male sits a couple of seconds - leaves as female remains on nest - as he leaves - female stands - seeks up a little - turns head straight down and fed at least twice - then settles down again.
1026 - q off D with puches - 8 joins her after ½ minute. - she moves to him, no begging - receives food - comes to nest in 30 seconds after working mandibles and feet perhaps formerly on limbs to break - cutting pounding - food too small to see -
