Bid m at 9:30 - young getting cold. 10. A.M. - once at 9:45 - and again at 9:55 - birds left but both tours did not catch nor feed on returning but looked at young. One jumped off and sat beside nest other loofed at young - not feeding - then settled on return - this lot due to fright. at 10.05 male arrived with visible food from W side - fed to female who wriggled throat affably immediately - she left nest at once - she sat by nest doing nothing - did not peer in. She returned - may have gone to ground - but looked and did not feed - then sat.
