Lupine. Left tree and bird returned
while I was within 25 yds -
returned 2 min after I left. This
between 405 & 420
Went to no.7 and found pair flying into
oak ferns as I approached - they
were very close together as though
in pursuit (play). A low cry
heard given on the wing was heard -
One bird returned to tree top - other
in N side of tree. After 5 min,
a bird seems came in from north
and in a few seconds leave again.
The bird on top of tree then moved
its north part of tree and in a
minute probably the same bird
came back to this spot.
I approached - bird on top
heard singing - flew to 3 on wires.
I went to ear and wrote note
at from 450 - 530 - Did not appear
in five mins - day windy but
mild temperature - 2nd clouds in PM.
Birds may have sought shelter from
wind in the oak - yet wind
strong on top of oak where
they pushed. Left 5.05
Arrived at no.6 at 5.20 -
Bird flushed as I came from 5 - but
did not leave trees. 2 cat uproars and
