- not close them if it do not
B. pumme & have been the nuts
drive away a flock flicker from
same floc system when I first
arrived - It was the note this
last time as I later have learned
by reason of the runaway bird
being the female . The female was
close to the nut but not at it --
perhaps 15 ft away. The stayed
in trees and simply included in
nut - sure to them at any time
pumme.
I went around car across bridge
to give her a chance to return and
shrubbery - I heard a quick quick
quick quick series of notes --
Maybe by two birds? but I am
not sure - about 5 or 6 notes in all -
(at 11:15).
At 11:25 - return - I went to nest and
found female sat on - eggs warmer --
it looked as though incubation
were starting - eggs however were
quite cold - yolk it me - when
brushed them - She may have
been sitting when I think she
flushed from 15 ft away at
11:10 about - yet I don't think
it likely in view of the notes heard
later. This fast flush - I came
close after the jumped in some trees
