30 ft up in [illegible] near crown
toward center of willows and
west of bridge. Near a main
trail.
June 6 1930 - #7 at least five
and I think six young found along
the fence on the south edge of Otter
county. Several of the bands were
sun. They tended to stay close together
that is on the same section of
fence line - not closer than 5
feet usually. They were feeding for
silver and who not heard to lay
I scared several from road
and into willows. An old bird
affraid and screeched difficulty
as I chased young. Young did not
fly however. Old bird followed
back [illegible] toward nest tree. A
bird had been heard singing here
on the way out. The pair of adults
was flushed from the able on
the hill. A nest of six (large)
eggs was located in lower
branches of oak at downhill
