Apr 25 - Males heard for some
Time - about a month and
sang hard. - Females present
for a week I am sure and
probably longer. Today noticed
pair at bridge trying to invade
the tree by the bridge held by
another pair. The pair (A) would
dash into the tree owned by
B from the tree E in ravine
- males would clash & a return
to Bridge rail - sometimes
chased off if here. - Female B
would dart around pair but
close and screech as scratch
the harsh note that the AB
yave. Female A would commonly
6-7 times, lead way to
the - male following - once
male went and female followed.
Female B once jumped at & A
as BB attached A & when
all four in tree by bridge. Pair
A when repulsed at bridge would
sit on top and of them chase
