they show a slight red color now - some at least. Bird swum into tree as I was approaching my second trip at 9:10 - did not see any third trip but on fourth trip at 9:20 - it was sitting on four eggs - had not removed a leaf that had dropped in the nest - bird flushed but could not see just where in eucalypts. Eggs that I had been getting a little cold. The eggs were returned by 9:25 and as I left I saw that a bird along with below the ask.
Arrived at no6 at 9:35 - male was flushed from the tree directly upstream John bridge - he flew across to the willow - over the bridge and then on west as I approached. At 9:40 I flushed the female bird from the nest - I approached over bridge and as soon as she saw we left to go to my well on lunch to sweet side. After she sat while I wrote but left a bird was measured by 10 AM when I heard a squawel flying down June road and swooped well with some sort of white substance.
