Nine Golden-crowned Sparrows
trapped in Strawberry Canyon
April 4 1933. Kept in cage in
my room. Placed in a paper carton,
mosquito netting over top. Left
Berkeley in my car with them 5:30
A. M. April 6th. Arrived in Los
Angeles same day, and released them
at 4:50 P. M. in a little canyon by
cside of Hollywood Way, at foot of
Cahuenga Peak.
