C. 419 60 - probably q not. pinious - probably not raised locally. Matthes bird from Mendocino Co., for which I have no name at present. C 41931 - very typical 8 pinious probably a first year male. Both released at 11:30 Sept.5/32 at h.s.B. 9/5/32. PHM. G.C. A/18/1935. Banded by C.L. Summers Jr. at Alpine Creek Ranch, near Menlo Park, Calif. 4/29 '34. Released same day near swimming pool in Strawberry Canyon. Recaptured 10/16 '34 at Alpine Creek Ranch. Released again near swimming pool 10/18 '34. Trapped in same location 11/24 '34 by H. Ho. Lecinman, Sr. Trapped at 5 12/9 '34. Paleocd at h.s. 10/64. Hermit Thrush C89935. Picked up by employee of U. of C. at entrance to Strawberry Canyon, apparently in a dying condition. When foot into cage in a warm room it revived. Apparently in good health when released. Junco (pinious) C89955. Trapped by Lowell Summers, near Menlo Park 3/4 '33. Banded by me, and released at 5 3/10 '33, 12 M. Foxsuck Sparrow F73355. Undoubtedly killed in trap by some animal, on morning of March 5- I found feathers scattered around trap, and bird has not been trapped since.
