Lindale. 16th bird of this species recorded to date in California See notes: 10/26'31; 10/27; 10/28; 10/29; Repeats, etc. Trapped in a government falcon trap, with hauled whale boiler for bait. The ground was newly trapped, and probably the bird was hunting for mice or gnats. See notes: 11/9'31; Wright, a [illegible] of C. employee told me that this Flicker came into the falcon house, and that he caught it, and put it into my trap.
