August 27 '31 Sprutted Farhee 72004 (See Aug 5'th) Died about 8/15. Saw Dr. S.F. Michael of the Division of Veterinary Science, N.of.B. on the 7th. for observation. He reported Aug 27'th. "Postmortem and bacterio- logical examinations revealed mycotic infection, cased by Serus aspergillus. A large abscess was found affecting the left lung and the air sack. Lymphs around the beaks were inoculated into a normal pigeon and chicken, as they were unremarkable suspicious of fowl legions. However, those birds were negative. It is very possible that these legions may also be caused by the mycotic infection." August 31 '31.
