To the wing (carpal joint) 1.375? inches. Adult
male, just moulting, so is not in full plumage.
Found above 7,500 ft elevation, and west by south
of Pōkīhi on Stone's Ranch, Hānākūa Hawaii on Aug.
28, 1903. Feeding in the Māmane tree.
