Vestaria coccinea Native Name - Divi Hawaii Length 5.93 inches, Wing 3.10 inches, Tail 2.05 inches Culmen 1.05 inches, Tarsus 1.05 inches, Foot 7.0 inches Depth of beak .28 inches, Distance from tip of beak to wing (carpal joint) 2.30 inches. Color of bill yellow carmine. Found in N.W part of lower end of Cornfield, Davis Ranch Hanaekua Hawaii, at 4000 foot ele- vation on Aug. 10.1903. Young male, shot while feeding on caterpillars which eat the leaves of the Ohea trees. Exchanged with Mr. L. H. Miller, Aug. 15.1903.
