dorioides bailei. Hawaii. No.3 Native Name - Palila Color, gray with grayish yellow head and yellow neck on under side. Length 6 inches. Found above the stone fence, 8000 feet elevation on Annie's Ranch Manakana Hawaii, July 15, 1903. Female small ovaries. Food, the young birds and tender branches of the Manrame tree.
