Culmen 1.45, Depth of beak .23 , Distance from
lift of wing to lift of tail, about .70 inches.
Width of beak .23 inches. Upper culmen 2/5 longer
than the lower mandible. Female, found
about halfway through #3 field along road to
Donnie's Ranch House on Sept. 14. 1903 among
the Ohia. These birds have just made their
appearance within the last week. Sept. >. 1903.
at about 3,250 foot elevation.
