DATE 6 Sept Pg.# 3 time species # dir. hgt. remarks loc. 1548 TB sp. 1 1600 Shear-Pet sp 1 NE 1613 " " 1 1623 Petrel sp 1 W Daunt. This just might have been a light phase Kermadec but I just didn't get that good a look. Seen by bow but not by me RRC 1634 Bird sp 1 S 1635 "Cook" Petrel 1 SE 1855 Sooty Tern 100 W.N. Petrel 20-10 Snamwul sp 5 Enigate 2 Feeding Flock. This flock was very interesting in that of the some 20 petrel procellariids identified with it I was unable to spot a single WT. Of the 5 petrels I saw well and at close range 4 were decidedly w.b. while the fifth may have been dark-mump. I suspect though that it was probably our form or another of the white-neck - Dayle notes that some of the sooty terns were immature. Dark phase 1709 Golden Plover 1 1712 WT 1 1715 WT 2 1819 DAP 1 1840 End observations
