Landed in water, 100 ft from ship and started to chew
on fish or squid just below surface. Didn't look.
Off again, pink & black lower 2/3 of feet clearly
visible, also bill. Not molting - plumage fresh.

The bird bore a Tern-like flight with pointed wings. The bird was all dark
with a lighter bill. Flies about 7 ft above stern of ship, heading
slightly East. Bill was straight and somewhat lighter at base
