Appeared smaller than Wedgetail. Seen at close range all with medium length central rectrices and a trace of vermiculation on mantle. southern dark phase 2 RTTB seen at 0715 after completion: A Hydro station; were probably from group of 3. Buds were feeding, dropping into water from left or so, breaking their fall slightly with their wings & steering as well. Did not appear to go below surface!
