Flying fishes seen on watch
MPCPC
MPBPC
Estimated sizes "Small" 5-8"
"Medium" 7-12"
"Large" over 12"
Schultz notes that most flying fish take off into the wind. This appears to be the case for most of the individuals seen on this watch (mostly MPBPC). Most of these flights are abortive and short (wind speed 19 knots) but one MPBPC had a relatively long (2-4 sec) flight directly downwind.
10:44 - additional species of flying fish seen (though but poorly) a small fish close to the ship had definitely red-brown tones to the pectorals. Several seen.

This makes it tough - Termite says WT and lie sees 'bivels' better than I do. Thought boat was gray. Thought it had light under-tail coverts. About black bonnet but?
