Petrel seen by George Coming up off water? close to ship - All characters seen well. Seen poorly small dark above, under-parts not seen Bulwens? No special evidence to tentative id. Seen by Penny - says it was all duck light I flushed from water - in sun. feeding flocks travelling - 4 immature migrating central reticules adult sitting on water dark above, dull below; underwings not seen flew rather heavily. For slender bill looked bulkier. may have been dark phase - light feeling
