B. C. F. Townsend Cromwell April 1965 Cruise The April 1965 Townsend Cromwell cruise, from 11 April to 1 May, was the 14th of a series of 16 cruises conducted by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Bureau of Commercial Fisheries covering a fixed gird to the south, north, and east of the high Hawaiian Islands for the purpose of determining variations in the water types and currents of this area. This was the 13th cruise in which Pacific Project personnel have taken part, maintaining daily sunrise to sunset bird observations. Onservations on this cruise totalled 244.0 hours. In addition Project personnel aided in recording weather observations and in recording bathythermographs. Project personnel were Vincent Hoeman and Warren King. Warren B.
