Weather: Sunny, warm, little wind, sea calm, cumulus formations more pronounced than
on previous day.

following ship. Almost certainly same one as
last night.
0724 1 NE Redfoot- circled ship and left.
0815 1 NE Booby sp., circled ship.
0818 1 SE R.T. Tropicbird - circled ship.
0820 15 SE Flock Sooty Tern
0822 1 NE Red-footed Booby Adult
0910 4 N Sooty Tern
0915 2 N Sooty Tern
0916 1 N Sooty Tern
0917 1 SW Sooty Tern

Albatross ceased following ship at about 1020.
Blackfooted Albatross came in from West, came
to ship, and continued east.
Blackfooted Albatross - different pattern from one
of yesterday and this morning. Left 12:15 .
1140 1 Fairy Tern
1200 1 SE Booby sp?
1212 1 NE Black-footed Albatross again following ship. Dark
rump and dark lower tail coverts. Possibly same
bird as 12:00 sighting. 1435 Headed off towards
SSW flew back and circled ship
1502 2 E Gray-backed Tern.
1507 1 WT Tropic Bird
1514 1 N Tropic bird sp?
1518 1 N SW Tropic bird sp?
1521 1 Blackfooted Albatross - all dark behind following
ship. Left shortly after.
1608 1 N Tropic bird sp?
1615 35* Flock Sooty Tern (feeding)
1710 1 WT Tropicbird - circled ship.
1723 1 Bird sp? lost in sun.
1725 1 W Harcourt's Storm Petrel - crossing bow at close
range.
