Commodity Report, June 30th.
We observe the following:
The stock of sugar has increased, as did that of molasses. Coffee continues to be scarce and dear; also tea is high. The demand for flour remains steady, while wheat has fallen slightly below last week's price. Cotton prices are firm but not rising rapidly. Lard is quoted at 10½c., with sales limited to small lots. Butter in good condition brings from 20 to 24 cents per pound. Cheese holds its value well.

The market shows no change worth noting since our last report. Sugar still commands a premium due to limited supplies. Molasses remains scarce and dear; also tea is high. The demand for flour continues steady, while wheat has fallen slightly below last week's price. Cotton prices are firm but not rising rapidly. Lard is quoted at 10½c., with sales limited to small lots. Butter in good condition brings from 20 to 24 cents per pound. Cheese holds its value well.
