This morning at 9:30 A.M. (6/27)
Gund, M. Brand, and W. Koenig
left UCR We drove
up the Banning to Tempe, then back to Palm Springs
The car was big enough for two men and a man
to lie down in it.
There were 10 of us total, including the driver and me.
We had a great time eating out at various places.
The food was good but not great. The prices were reasonable.
We stayed at the Ramada Inn in Tempe. It was clean and comfortable.
The next day we drove to Sedona, Arizona. We visited Red Rock State Park and did some hiking. The scenery was breathtaking.
On our way back home, we stopped at the Grand Canyon. We spent several hours exploring the canyon floor and taking pictures from various viewpoints along the rim.
It was an amazing experience that I will never forget!
