Field Trip to Palm Desert Riverside Co. Cal High school students May 18, 1973 We were able to go on a field trip to the Coachella Valley and Palm Springs area. We visited the Morongo Indian Reservation, Joshua Tree National Monument, and Palm Springs. We saw many different types of animals such as snakes, lizards, birds etc. There was also an interesting museum that showed us how the Indians used to live in this desert area.
