Field Trip to Palm Desert Riverside Co Calif. Sunday: We had the chance to look around and see some of the local sights. The weather was perfect for it. We were able to see 7,011 feet above sea level at Mt. San Jacinto State Park. It was a bit chilly but we enjoyed ourselves. We also got to try out the tramway which goes up the mountain. It's an amazing experience! We stopped by some shops along the way and bought souvenirs as well as food. I picked up a few items that reminded me of home (like postcards). There were lots of interesting things to see like cacti, rocks etc.
