Beautiful Clear morning. Temp 42°
Walked quite around Hempstead Res.
Frozen over except at E. end.
Keeper told me a man walked across
on the ice this morning. Ice seems
quite thick. This seems Remarkable
Considering the winter so far
beautiful mild weather but we
had a nice though quite cold.
