Nadarnialu May 1, 1925 arrived last night & raining today all day. Out at 8.30 told Y.P. m + got few birds. Heard a parrot or two singing + saw bird high in tree. Shot it + picked up the longtail red chin parrot. Shot. 3 more birds came high tree before picking me up + they proved to be nothos + one common parrot. The other small parrot blew down too close to shoot when picked up the winged one but flew off before I could step back a few feet. Thrushes + longbills common. Wrens frequent; one wood swallow swift, several. also thrushes both pigeons. kingfishers seen 35 - mekes rain March 15 - in April
