Isoetaceae Isoetes: 1 of critical genera; not known in north ; not worked up yet. Riper the material the better. Get it by all means. Plnts. are apt to be covered with fresh wat fresh water algae so will stick to paper and paper and make mess. Treat as an aquatic; lay out on single sheet of white paper and put in press with- out any flap folded over, so next to drier; will stick to white paper and not to drier. Lvs. will stick to- gether so at first change of driers comb comb out specimen with match or stick.
