Aug. 8 - still feeling the effects of last
night's sport we arose at mid A.M.
and checked mouse traps; back for
chow at 11:30; P.M. did laundry,
checked Noddy eggs and made maps
of Sooties; saw a ray about 20 feet
off the East Shore at about 4:30 P.M.
(they are quite common - I've seen
four in one day); to the other side
tonight to celebrate Dave's departure;
watched the bingo game - helped Conners
play a card but came close only twice;
went to Waikiki Club after the game
for a beer; returned to Sand and
continued celebration - crap game and
card game (10-64 dollars per throw);
obviously I didn't join in the gambling-
to bed pretty late and in pretty bad
shape.
